We want to end 2024 in the middle of a beautiful landscape, a great horizon, under the stars, traditional food... with a great party, just as we all deserve. A few days to disconnect or connect with oneself taking advantage of the Christmas holidays.
On December 31 everyone at ERG LIHOUDI will celebrate the END OF THE YEAR in a special way!
Pick up at 8-8:30 a.m. in Marrakech. We cross the High Atlas to its highest point in the Tizi'n Tiscka Mountain (2,260 m altitude). Visit Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. Ouarzazate, possibility of visiting the Cinema Museum. Skoura road, Valleyh of Roses. Arrival at the Dades Gorges (gorges in the Dades River Valley, between Boumalne Dades and Msmrir). Lunch on the route and dinner at the hotel.
12/30/2023 Dades - Draa Valley - Zagora - Tamgroute - TagouniteBreakfast and visit the Gorges. We return to the road through the Draa Valley, one of the most beautiful routes in the country. We will eat on the way. Arrival at Tagounite, where we will spend the night.
12/31/2023 Erg Lihoudi. End of the year's partyIn the morning we will visit the kasbahs that surround the town. In the afternoon we will enter the desert, to the dunes of Erg Lihoudi. Dromedary ride, sunset in the desert... Night with special dinner, music and New Year's Eve Party and accommodation in haima.
1/1/2024 Erg Lihoudi - Ouasi Sacre - Erg ChegagaUploaded to the 4x4 we will continue going in the middle of the desert. About three - four hours of track through various desert landscapes of hamada (stone desert), an Oasis, etc. Food on the road. We arrive at the Erg Chegaga camp where we find dunes up to 300 m high and about 45 km of dune horizon. At the camp we will be received with a tea ceremony. Dinner and night in the camp in haima.
1/2/2024 Chigaga - Lake Iriki - Foum Zguid - Taroudant - Tizi'n'Tiscka - MarrakechBreakfast and return to Marrakech by the old track of the Paris – Dakar Rally. We will cross Lake Iriki (a dry lake) for about 14 km, arriving at an area full of fossils. At Foum Zguid, we return to asphalt. Food on the road. We will enter the Tizi'n Tiscka Mountain and arrive in Marrakech. Transfer to your accommodation or airport (for stays at the airport after 7pm).
