December 30Pick up at 8 am at the accommodation in Marrakech. We cross the High Atlas to its highest point, in the Tizi’nTiscka Mountain (2,260 m altitude). Once at the foot of the mountain we find the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. We make a visit to the kasbah (voluntary) and continue to the city of Ouarzazate, known as African Hollywood. We cross the Draa Valley, with its large palm grove and kasbahs that surround it and form one of the most beautiful routes in all of Morocco. We passed through various villages, kasbahs ... in the south of Morocco; Agdz and Zagora, which is the last city we found. We continue through the Draa Valley, we will cross the town of Tagounite and enter the desert. We will spend the night in a HAIMA in the middle of the desert in ERG LIHOUDI.
December 31stAfter breakfast we will do a day of trekking (about 4 - 5 hours) until we reach the dunes of Ouad Nâam. There we will spend the night in a PRIVATE VIVOUAC IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT, with a great magical fire that will illuminate the stars and the sound of the drums. PARTY TO CELEBRATE THE ENTRANCE TO THE NEW YEAR.
January 1Relaxing day among the dunes of Ouad Nâam, a moment to enjoy the silence of the Sahara. Night in the PRIVATE VIVOUAC.
January 2After breakfast we will get on the 4x4 to continue enjoying the magical desert landscape to the Sacred Oasis. There we will make a stop under some palm trees of the Oasis. Then we will continue enjoying the Sahara until we reach the sea of dunes of ERG CHIGAGA.
January 3After breakfast we will leave the Chigaga dunes, towards M’hamid where we will change the 4x4 for the minibus. We will leave the desert track and take the asphalt back to Marrakech. Transfer to the HOTEL.
January 4thAirport transfer and return home.
