Jan Session in the Sahara

Jan Session in the Sahara

This 2020 we inaugurated a new proposal: A Jam Session in the Desert. Three days of intense desert life with music and learning the typical instruments of the area.

We offer:

  • Percussion Classes
  • Tax Classes
  • Guitar lessons

Bring your instrument or we'll leave it here. Ady Non Serviam will be your teacher, here you will find more about him: https://www.facebook.com/HitTheRoadMusicPl/

It will be an authentic trip where we can pick you up in Marrakech or come directly to Tagounite.

From March 13 to 15 we will be in Oued Naam, in the middle of the Sahara!

March 12 Marrakech - Tagounite

We will pick you up in Marrakech at 8h and we will leave the city heading south. Climbing up the Tizi'n Tiscka Mountain (2,260m), in the High Atlas, until we reach the foot of the Mountain, where we will stop at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site. We will continue through Ouarzazate and from there through the Draa Valley, one of the most beautiful routes in the country, to Tagounite. Where we will spend the first night of the trip in a typical house.

March 13, 14 and 15 Tagounite - M'hamid - Oued Naam

After breakfast we will go to the desert where we will spend three days in Oued Naam enjoying the music in its purest form. Three days where we will learn and share what unites the world the most, the instruments. We will mount a camp in the middle of the desert, where we will spend the nights like the nomads.

March 16 Tagounite - Marrakech

After breakfast we will leave towards Marrakech through the Draa Valley and the High Atlas. Arrival in Marrakech about 7pm - 8pm.
